Ethics Mentorship with Answer Writing Practice 2021-22

ūüĎČ Model Approach Answers will be provided along with one to one interaction with the expert evaluator faculty.

ūüĎČ Other than the questions covered under this course, students can submit few answers of other Ethics questions of their choice for evaluation.¬†

 - Ethics and Human Interface: Essence, determinants, and consequences of Ethics in human actions; dimensions of ethics; ethics in private and public relationships.

 - Aptitude and foundational values for Civil Service, integrity, impartiality and non-partisanship, objectivity, dedication to public service, empathy, tolerance, and compassion towards the weaker sections.

 - Contributions of moral thinkers and philosophers from India and the world.

Section B : Two Case Studies will be based on the above topics.

2 10 Dec 2021

 - Attitude: content, structure, function; its influence and relation with thought and behaviour;  moral and political attitudes; social influence and persuasion

 - Emotional intelligence-concepts, and their utilities and application in administration and governance.

 - Contributions of moral thinkers and philosophers from India and world.

 - Lessons from the lives and teachings of great leaders, reformers and administrators.

 Section B : Two Case Study will be based on the above topics

3 18 Dec 2021

 - Public/Civil service values and Ethics in Public administration: Status and problems; ethical concerns and dilemmas in government and private institutions; laws, rules, regulations and conscience as sources of ethical guidance; accountability and ethical governance; strengthening of ethical and moral values in governance.

 - Probity in Governance: Concept of public service; Philosophical basis of governance and probity.

 - Lessons from the lives and teachings of great leaders, reformers and administrators

 - Contributions of moral thinkers and philosophers from India and world.

 Section B : Two Case Studies will be based on the above topics.

4 26 Dec 2021

 - Information  sharing and transparency in government, Right to Information, Codes of Ethics, Codes of Conduct, Citizen’s Charters, Work culture, Quality of service delivery, Utilization of public funds, challenges of corruption.

 - Lessons from the lives and teachings of great leaders, reformers and administrators

 - Contributions of moral thinkers and philosophers from India and world.

 - Ethical issues in international relations and funding; corporate governance

Section B : Two Case Studies will be based on the above topics.

Salient Features :

  1. Program schedule is flexible. That means that candidates can attempt the test as per their convenience.
  2. The focus will be on coverage of syllabus.
  3. To give personal attention, only 20 candidates will be admitted.
  4. The questions will be set as per the latest trend of UPSC Examination.
  5. The program is available in both offline & online mode.
  6. Students who opted for the offline mode just need to submit their answer sheets at the offline centre at New Delhi.
  7. Students who opted for online mode need to write answers in an offline mode only i.e. on blank papers available with him/her. After attempting questions, he/she need to scan the answers using cam scanner/adobe scan mobile app and send us for evaluation and feedback.
  8. First 4 exercises will be of 100  marks having Section-A & Section-B and conducted in Question-cum-Answer (QcA) booklet format (Section A 60 marks + Section B 40 marks).
  9. Last 2 exercises will be of Full length tests of 250 marks.
  10. Timely & in-depth evaluation of answer copies with micro & macro level feedback.
  11. Faculty (Pranav Kumar sir - he has vast experience of working with Ethics team in Vision IAS Institute) himself will evaluate answer sheets and will have one to one interaction with students.
  12. Students taking admission will be added to the Private Telegram Group where they can always remain in touch with faculty.
  13. The program is suitable for 2021 and 2022 students.
  14. Flexibility to study topics of choice for alignment with student's other test series or classroom programs.
